Tucker Carlson Backstabs Trump

In a recent episode of his podcast, Tucker Carlson expressed concern over the Trump Organization’s expanding business ventures in the Middle East, suggesting they could indicate improper conduct. Speaking with former Navy SEAL and fellow podcaster Shawn Ryan, Carlson agreed that the timing of these deals coinciding with new diplomatic and trade agreements between the Trump administration and several Gulf nations raised serious questions.

Carlson asked Ryan to share his thoughts on how the Trump administration is performing overall. Ryan began by applauding President Trump for scaling back diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and streamlining parts of the federal bureaucracy. However, he quickly pivoted to criticism, saying the administration still had “a lot of work” to do and admitting he was “losing hope.”

Ryan pointed specifically to the Trump Organization’s new international real estate projects. “I’m going to get blasted for this,” he said, “but I see all these negotiations going on in the Middle East, and then all of a sudden there’s a brand new hotel going up in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and another one going up in Doha.”

He questioned whether these projects were finalized independently or were timed to coincide with the administration’s foreign policy initiatives. “Did these just get done also with the deals which just happened over there or was this earlier?” he asked, implying a possible connection.

Carlson responded, “It seems like corruption,” echoing the concern that the Trump family’s personal business interests could be benefiting from government negotiations.

The Trump Organization’s recent expansion includes a major agreement to construct a luxury golf resort in Qatar through a partnership with Qatari Diar, a development firm backed by the country’s sovereign wealth fund. Additional projects bearing the Trump name are also planned in Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, as well as in Oman, where a Trump International Hotel and golf course are in the works.
