Tucker Carlson Attacks Trump

Tucker Carlson sharply criticized President Trump on Friday, accusing him of being “complicit” in Israel’s overnight military strikes on Iran and warning that the escalating confrontation could pull the United States into another war. In his morning newsletter, Carlson argued that Trump shares responsibility for the attack, citing the close U.S.-Israel alliance and the deadly outcome of the strikes, which targeted Iranian military sites and reportedly killed several top Iranian commanders.

Carlson wrote that the unfolding situation could become a defining moment for Trump’s presidency. “What happens next will define Donald Trump’s presidency,” he stated, in remarks that were quickly picked up by multiple news outlets.

Though Carlson has long been viewed as one of Trump’s strongest media allies appearing alongside him at the Republican National Convention and co-headlining a speaking tour during the 2024 campaign his recent comments reflect growing tension within the conservative movement over the administration’s stance toward Iran. The former Fox News host has built a reputation for provocative takes on politics and culture and has consistently criticized what he calls the neoconservative push for endless foreign wars, especially in the Middle East.

Over the past few weeks, Carlson has openly clashed with other conservative voices who have encouraged Trump to take a more aggressive posture against Iran. He’s warned that doing so could repeat the mistakes of past U.S. interventions and drag the country into another costly conflict.

Despite the criticism, Carlson remains one of Trump’s most prominent supporters in the media. The former president has frequently praised him both during and after Carlson’s tenure at Fox News, calling him one of the most important voices on the right. But with tensions rising in the region and questions swirling about the administration’s role in supporting Israeli military action, Carlson’s pointed remarks suggest a widening divide within Trump’s own base over the risks of escalating war with Iran.
