Massad Boulos Named Trump’s Senior Adviser for Arab and Middle Eastern Affairs
Donald Trump, the former president and current presidential candidate, has announced that Massad Boulos will join his team as a senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs. Boulos, a prominent Lebanese-American businessman and the father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany Trump, was named in a Truth Social post on Sunday.
In his announcement, Trump praised Boulos as a seasoned professional with a strong international background. “Massad is an accomplished lawyer and a highly respected leader in the business world,” Trump stated. “He has been a long-time advocate of Republican and Conservative values and has played a key role in forging strong new alliances with the Arab American community. His expertise will be an asset to my campaign.”
Boulos, whose son Michael is married to Tiffany Trump, has a notable presence in international business and legal circles. This appointment reflects Trump’s ongoing strategy to engage with diverse communities and expand his base of support.
This news follows closely on Trump’s recent announcement that Charles Kushner, the father of his son-in-law Jared Kushner, will be his choice for ambassador to France. During Trump’s first term, Jared Kushner was instrumental in spearheading significant diplomatic efforts in the Middle East, including the Abraham Accords.
By bringing in Massad Boulos, Trump seems to be signaling a continued focus on Middle Eastern diplomacy and outreach to Arab American communities, aiming to build on the initiatives of his previous administration. The appointment highlights the Trump family’s ongoing involvement in shaping policy and fostering international relationships.
