Trump Makes Dem Governor Cry

President Trump took aim at Maryland Gov. Wes Moore on Sunday after Moore publicly challenged him to “come walk the streets with us” in Baltimore. Trump dismissed the invitation as “nasty and provocative,” saying he would rather see Moore focus on what he called the city’s “crime disaster” before he’d consider joining him.

In a series of Truth Social posts, Trump attacked Moore’s record on crime, claiming Baltimore is one of the most dangerous cities in the country. He argued that under his own leadership in Washington, D.C., crime had plummeted after he deployed federal forces, and offered to do the same in Baltimore if Moore “needs help, like Gavin Newscum did in L.A.” Trump wrote, “After only one week, there is NO CRIME AND NO MURDER IN DC! When it is like that in Baltimore, I will proudly ‘walk the streets’ with the failing, because of Crime, Governor of Maryland.”

Trump also suggested that he may reconsider the federal funding he allocated to help rebuild Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed after a cargo ship accident in March 2024. “Also, I gave Wes Moore a lot of money to fix his demolished bridge. I will now have to rethink that decision???” he posted.

He went further by reviving controversy surrounding Moore’s Bronze Star, asking if the governor had lied about receiving the military award. Moore, who earned the honor in December for his service in Afghanistan nearly two decades earlier, has said the issue stemmed from an “honest mistake” when he listed the medal on a 2006 application before it had been officially awarded.

Moore fired back at Trump by calling him “President Bone Spurs,” a jab at Trump’s deferment from military service during Vietnam. He said Trump was using falsehoods to avoid facing Baltimore’s realities and mocked him by offering to provide a golf cart if he found walking too difficult.
