Trump Issued Impeachment Warning

Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna recently cautioned on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” that President Donald Trump could face another impeachment if Republicans lose control of the House in the 2026 midterm elections. Luna’s statement underscores the intense political battles ahead as Trump, who was impeached twice during his first term, remains a central figure in U.S. politics.

During the first impeachment, Trump was accused of abusing his power by pressuring Ukraine to investigate political opponents, and the second stemmed from his involvement in the events leading up to the January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill riot. Although the Senate did not convict Trump in either trial, recent accusations by Representative Al Green (D-TX) regarding “ethnic cleansing in Gaza” have spurred discussions of potential new impeachment articles.

In her interview with Laura Ingraham, Luna also touched on the recent vandalism of Elon Musk’s Tesla vehicles, which she linked to broader protests against both Musk and Trump. She highlighted what she described as hypocrisy among the left, especially in light of Musk’s declining business fortunes, which she believes are politically motivated attacks.

Luna emphasized the importance of supporting local Republican candidates in the upcoming elections to maintain control of the House, describing the political landscape as a “metaphorical knife fight.” She expressed concern that losing the House could lead to yet another impeachment attempt against Trump, aimed at derailing his policy initiatives.

Ingraham echoed Luna’s sentiments, suggesting that Democrats are orchestrating conflicts to set the stage for Trump’s impeachment. Meanwhile, White House deputy press secretary Harrison Fields defended the president, criticizing Democrats for focusing on what he called publicity stunts rather than governance. Fields argued that Trump’s reelection was a mandate from the American people to continue his “America First” agenda.

As the political tension builds toward the 2026 midterms, the balance of power in Congress will be crucial. A shift in majority from Republican to Democrat could significantly impact Trump’s presidency and potentially lead to another impeachment if allegations of misconduct arise.
