At a rally in Pennsylvania on Monday, former President Trump humorously admitted to a crowd that he is not fond of those who don’t reciprocate his liking, labeling it a “personality defect.”
During his speech, Trump sharply criticized late-night television hosts like NBC’s Jimmy Fallon and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel, who often target him in their comedy sketches.
Trump also discussed his recent guest appearance on the late-night Fox News show hosted by Greg Gutfeld. He recalled past disagreements with Gutfeld, candidly expressing, “I don’t like anybody that doesn’t like me. I’ll be honest, when they don’t like me, I don’t like them. OK? It sounds childish… but that’s just how it is. Call it a personality defect.”
Despite their previous differences, Trump noted that he enjoyed his time on Gutfeld’s program, attributing their positive interaction to their “great chemistry.”
“We actually liked each other,” Trump remarked, chuckling.
This appearance on Gutfeld’s show came shortly after Trump faced a second assassination attempt within two months. Both Trump and Gutfeld made light of the serious incident during the show.
