Trump All Set For Third Term?

Former White House strategist Steve Bannon reaffirmed his confidence in President Trump’s political future, stating that Trump will run again in 2028 and secure a third term. During an interview with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo, Bannon dismissed any speculation about his own presidential ambitions, instead doubling down on his support for Trump’s continued leadership.

“I firmly believe that President Trump will run and win again in 2028, so I’ve already endorsed him,” Bannon said. “A man like this comes along once every century, if we’re lucky. We’ve got him now.” He went on to emphasize Trump’s momentum, adding, “He’s on fire, and I’m a huge supporter. I want to see him again in 2028.”

Trump has repeatedly hinted at the possibility of seeking a third term, despite the 22nd Amendment prohibiting presidents from serving more than two terms. His remarks have fueled speculation about how he might attempt to extend his presidency beyond constitutional limits.

Most recently, Trump alluded to the idea during a St. Patrick’s Day event at the White House alongside Irish Taoiseach Micheál Martin. Addressing the gathering, he joked, “Taoiseach, I want to just thank you once again for being here. It’s an honor, and hopefully, we’re gonna be doing this at least three more times, OK? We’re gonna be doing this three more times, at least.”

He then acknowledged the media’s reaction to his remarks, adding, “When I say ‘at least,’ they go absolutely crazy.” His comments, while seemingly lighthearted, have only intensified discussions about his long-term political ambitions and whether he might challenge the established limits of the presidency.
