Special Poll
Swifties for Kamala have kicked off a mail campaign aimed at engaging voters in Pennsylvania who might not usually head to the polls.
Annie Wu Henry, the campaign manager, explained in a press release that this initiative builds on their social media efforts, volunteer events, and in-person activities. The goal is to bring their message directly to people’s mailboxes and, ultimately, to the ballot box. Each piece of mail is designed to be encouraging, informative, and action-oriented, all wrapped up in a star-studded envelope.
The group has already sent out over 250,000 mail pieces to rally support for Harris in Pennsylvania. On Saturday, Wu shared the launch on the social platform X, including a screenshot of the press release and a photo of a “VOTE” card and a “Voting Era” friendship bracelet. These bracelets, a nod to the ones exchanged among Taylor Swift fans at her concerts, were included in 50,000 of the mailers.
Henry noted in her post that potential voters across Pennsylvania have been receiving these mailers over the past few weeks. Swifties for Kamala had already been active before Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Harris in September, with 35,000 supporters raising $130,000 during a fundraising call earlier this year.
