Ocasio-Cortez Has A Mental Breakdown Over Trump

Ocasio-Cortez Warns of ‘Overwhelming’ Political Tactics by Trump Administration

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) recently spoke out about what she sees as a deliberate strategy by the Trump administration to keep the public overwhelmed with a nonstop stream of political developments. During a livestream on Instagram, she urged Americans to recognize this pattern and stay engaged rather than discouraged.

“If you’re feeling exhausted by the constant headlines and breaking news, you’re not alone,” Ocasio-Cortez assured her audience. “And it’s important to understand that this feeling isn’t accidental—it’s part of a strategy.”

She pointed to the rapid rollout of executive orders under former President Trump, including policies targeting birthright citizenship, increasing deportations, and eliminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. These moves, she argued, are designed not only to reshape the country’s policies but also to create an atmosphere of chaos.

Drawing a comparison to authoritarian governments, Ocasio-Cortez explained a concept often called “flooding the zone.” This tactic, she said, involves pushing out so many changes at once that people become overwhelmed and feel powerless to respond.

“When governments want to consolidate power, they often overwhelm the public with so much change, so fast, that people don’t know where to focus their energy,” she said.

She warned that this could lead to a passive society—one that feels too drained to push back against major policy shifts. However, she encouraged people not to give in to exhaustion or fear but instead to stay informed and take action.

Ocasio-Cortez’s message was clear: rather than allowing political chaos to silence them, Americans should remain engaged, speak out, and resist policies they believe are harmful.
