The post featured Trump criticizing California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for what he described as poor handling of the protests following recent federal immigration raids.
Though Musk didn’t add any personal commentary, the repost signaled a shift back toward supporting Trump after their recent fallout. He also shared a message from Vice President J.D. Vance, who emphasized the need for strong leadership and stated that the president would not tolerate rioting and violence. Musk added two American flag emojis to the post, echoing a patriotic tone.
In a separate post, Musk shared an image of a protester standing atop a burning car with a short caption: “This is not ok.” The remark underscored his condemnation of the unrest, aligning with the administration’s law-and-order stance.
