Special Poll
Former First Lady Michelle Obama will headline a major get-out-the-vote rally in Georgia just days before the upcoming presidential election.
The event, set for October 29 in Atlanta, is organized by When We All Vote, a nonpartisan initiative founded by Obama. The focus of the rally will be on encouraging voter participation in Georgia, a crucial swing state, with Election Day fast approaching on November 5.
The rally will feature some of the organization’s celebrity co-chairs, along with special performances, and will be livestreamed to engage voters across the country during the final days of early voting.
In a statement, When We All Vote emphasized the event’s goal of motivating first-time voters and recognizing the efforts of organizations that work year-round to ensure that Georgians are registered and prepared to vote.
Although Michelle Obama addressed the Democratic National Convention earlier this year, praising Kamala Harris and discussing key issues, she has not actively campaigned for the Biden-Harris ticket alongside her husband, former President Barack Obama.
In the weeks leading up to the election, When We All Vote has been busy organizing over 500 free early voting events across the nation, continuing its mission of boosting voter turnout and engagement since its founding in 2018.
