Michelle Obama Launches New Podcast with Brother Craig Robinson
Former First Lady Michelle Obama is set to launch a new podcast alongside her brother, Craig Robinson, their media company Higher Ground announced on Monday.
The podcast, titled “IMO” (In My Opinion), aims to provide a platform for thoughtful conversations about life, relationships, and personal growth. Michelle Obama described the project as a space where people can feel comfortable asking honest questions and sharing their perspectives.
“With everything going on in the world, we’re all looking for answers and people to turn to,” Obama said in a statement. “My brother Craig and I launched the IMO podcast to create a space for people to come as they are, ask honest questions, give their opinions, and have thoughtful conversations about life.”
A Podcast Focused on Connection and Reflection
The IMO podcast will feature Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson discussing everyday topics that shape our lives, ranging from family and personal growth to relationships and faith. The duo, known for their close sibling bond, will bring their signature candid and warm style to the conversations.
“There is no single way to deal with the challenges we may be facing—whether it’s family, faith, or our personal relationships—but taking the time to open up and talk about these issues can provide hope,” Obama explained.
Craig Robinson, a former college basketball coach and the current executive director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, shared that deep discussions have always been a part of their relationship.
“My sister and I grew up talking through life’s big and small questions together,” Robinson said. “And now, we’re inviting listeners into that conversation, with the hope that it sparks new ideas, new perspectives, and creates the connection we could all use right now.”
