Kilmeade of Fox News Warns Trump

Brian Kilmeade of Fox News Advises Trump Against Heeding Bannon and Gaetz’s Counsel

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade is cautioning Donald Trump to steer clear of heeding advice from Steve Bannon, his ex-White House chief of staff, and Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), one of his staunch supporters in Congress. During a segment on “Fox and Friends,” Kilmeade pointed out a political strategy for both major parties. “Just as Joe Biden would be at a disadvantage if he followed the squad’s lead, Donald Trump would similarly falter if he took cues from Matt Gaetz and Steve Bannon,” Kilmeade remarked on the show.

Kilmeade believes that catering to the fringes is a losing strategy for any candidate. He emphasized that success lies in understanding that the majority of voters are centrist. “Whoever grasps this first will likely emerge victorious,” he added.

Steve Bannon, now running the “War Room” podcast and streaming show, continues to champion Trump and his agenda, while vocally opposing the former president’s critics and any Republicans he views as insufficiently conservative or loyal to Trump.

Meanwhile, Gaetz has been actively working within the GOP to challenge former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and has been a key ally for Trump over the years.

Despite recent criticisms from both Bannon and Trump towards Fox News and the Murdoch family, accusing them of globalism and obstructing Trump’s reelection campaign, Trump has still engaged with the network, participating in town halls and exclusive interviews as he gears up for another presidential run.
