Kamala Loses Out To Trump In Early Voting

Former President Trump holds a slight lead over Vice President Harris among early voters in key battleground states, according to new polling. A Harvard CAPS/Harris poll shows that 48 percent of early voters in critical swing states are backing Trump, while 47 percent support Harris. Another 5 percent said they chose a different candidate or have yet to vote.

Mark Penn, co-director of the poll, noted that Trump’s focus on swing states is proving effective. Among all voters in these battleground states, Trump holds a narrow 2-point lead, with 48 percent supporting him compared to Harris’s 46 percent.

However, Harris has a significant advantage among early voters nationwide, where she leads by 8 points, with 51 percent of the vote compared to Trump’s 43 percent. The poll also revealed that 45 percent of voters plan to cast their ballots early, while 50 percent intend to vote on Election Day.

As the election draws near, the outcome in a few key swing states will likely determine who wins the White House. The race between Trump and Harris remains tight, with polling showing close contests in states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Pennsylvania, where both candidates are heavily campaigning.

National polling averages suggest that Harris leads Trump by 3 points overall, but the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll shows an even closer race, with Harris holding just a 1-point advantage among registered voters across the country.
