Former President Trump criticized Fox News, claiming the network “has totally lost its way” after it announced plans to interview Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump accused the network of being too lenient on Democrats and suggested that Harris should be interviewed by “a more hard-hitting journalist.” When asked for further comment, Trump’s campaign referred back to his original statement.
In another post, Trump reiterated his criticism of Fox News, specifically targeting anchors Neil Cavuto, Eric Shawn, and Arthel Neville, while also taking aim at Democrats who appear on the network. He mentioned individuals like Ian Sams, a senior advisor to Harris, and sarcastically questioned how much time Sams spends on Fox.
Trump also criticized several Democratic contributors to Fox News, blaming them for negatively affecting the election.
Although Trump expressed frustration with the network, suggesting he might no longer appear on it, he continues to make frequent appearances. Just last month, he was interviewed on Fox & Friends, and this week he is scheduled to participate in a town hall hosted by Fox News, where he will answer questions from an all-female audience.
