Elon Musk Caught Cheating Trump Voters

A second class-action lawsuit has been filed against Elon Musk’s America PAC, claiming the group failed to pay voters the money they were promised for signing a petition during President Trump’s 2024 campaign leaving many supporters feeling tricked and cheated.

Three plaintiffs from Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Georgia brought the suit last week on behalf of others in similar situations, accusing the super PAC of breaking its promise to pay individuals for their signatures and for referring others to sign. The petition was framed as a show of support for the First and Second Amendments, and specifically targeted voters in battleground states.

Initially, the offer was for $47 per signature and per referral. That amount was later raised to $100 as an incentive during the campaign’s peak. Yet according to the lawsuit, the plaintiffs say they never received the full payment they were promised even after making repeated attempts to collect what they were owed.

One of the plaintiffs, Steven Reid, worked as a canvasser in Michigan and Georgia. He claims he referred numerous voters to sign the petition but never received the rewards he earned. Reid estimates the group owes him thousands of dollars and says that despite reaching out multiple times, he hasn’t seen a dime.

The complaint also says that Reid and others have spoken with “numerous” fellow participants who were left unpaid as well. These individuals are now joining the effort to demand accountability, feeling exploited by a campaign that took advantage of their time, trust, and political beliefs.

The lawsuit paints a broader picture of frustration among Trump supporters who feel used. Many believed Musk was aligned with their values, only to find themselves abandoned after the votes were cast and the petition goals were met. To them, this wasn’t just a broken promise it was a betrayal.

This is now the second lawsuit of its kind. A previous complaint, filed anonymously by a Pennsylvania man last month, made similar allegations and claimed he was owed $20,000 for collecting signatures.

The cases are drawing attention not only for the alleged breach of trust but also for how they expose cracks in the alliance between tech billionaires and grassroots conservative voters. As details continue to emerge, the lawsuits may become a rallying point for those who say Elon Musk’s America PAC misled them and that Trump supporters were once again manipulated under the guise of patriotism and promises.
