According to The Blaze, Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein announced that she would be stepping down from her position as lead on the Senate Judiciary Committee after facing criticism from progressives for hugging Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham during the Amy Coney Barrett confirmation hearings.
“After serving as the lead Democrat on the Judiciary Committee for four years, I will not seek the chairmanship or ranking member position in the next Congress,” she said.
