Actor Says Trump Would Lose To This Republican

Actor Dennis Quaid has claimed that Ronald Reagan would easily defeat Donald Trump to become the leader of today’s Republican Party.

While promoting his new movie, Reagan, where he portrays the former president, Quaid expressed his belief that Reagan’s principles still resonate with the GOP.

Despite the argument that the modern Republican Party, shaped by Trump’s influence, might not elect Reagan today, Quaid feels Reagan would be victorious in a primary contest against Trump.

In an interview with Fox News, Quaid said, “Reagan would be the head of the Republican Party these days, there’s no doubt about that,” adding that the country still yearns for Reagan’s leadership style.

Quaid’s movie, Reagan, grossed $7.4 million at the box office during its opening weekend, with a cumulative total of $9.2 million, including Labor Day projections. The film ranked third for the weekend behind Deadpool & Wolverine and Alien.
